Historic Views of The Year 1962

In 1962 the men European Championship in ice skating was held at Bislett Stadium in Oslo on 3 and 4 February. There were 35 participants from 12 countries. Robert Merkulov from the Soviet Union won the championship ahead of the Frenchman André Kouprianoff and Boris Stenin, also from the Soviet Union. "Kupper'n" Knut Johannesen came in 5th place.
